Helen's travel writing career began in the jungles of British Guyana walking the wrong way to the world's highest single drop waterfall, Kaieteur Falls. Since those heady days of sleeping in mud and wondering whether the paw prints belonged to a jaguar she has written from Brazil, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Laos, Cambodia and spent half a decade as a travel magazine editor in Vietnam.

Now back in Australia, living in Perth, Helen is busy exploring Western Australia food, wine, nature, culture and events.
